One day I was in charge of building the hydrophone system for my Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV). I created the electrical circuit and the firmware.
The job of the hydrophone system was to help guide our underwater robot to an acoustic source called a ‘pinger.’ Its like ears for our robot!
The best part was the hydrophone system it worked!
The not so good part was not enough time implementing it in the final build of the robo sub… 🙁
